What is a Service Fee? What is an Order Processing Fee? What is a Shipping Fee?

Why am I being charged a fee?

We do our best to make ordering through Ticketfly as convenient and efficient as possible, whether on your computer, mobile device, Facebook, or over the phone. Ticketfly provides a valuable service for event attendees, promoters, and venues, and relies on revenue from fees to pay for all the costs associated with this service, web hosting, ticketing hardware, customer support, training, credit and debit card processing services, merchant fees, computer hardware and software, telephone lines, labor and more.

Our fees are typically significantly lower than the industry average, and we make sure to transparently outline all necessary fees during the purchase process for each event.

What is a Service Fee? What is an Order Processing Fee?

A Service Fee is a per ticket charge that varies by event and face value of the ticket. The rate is set by the venue or promoter and Ticketfly, and is based on the cost to put on the event. You will always see the fee and total amount of your sale before you agree to a ticket purchase.

Some venues and promoters may also charge a non-refundable Order Processing Fee per order, regardless of the number of tickets. This charge includes services related to fulfilling the order, like taking and maintaining the order in our ticketing systems, arranging for shipping and coordinating with the box office will call.

What does Ticketfly charge for delivering tickets?

Print-at-home, mobile and will call tickets are not usually charged delivery fees, but for some events there may be special costs requiring a charge.

Standard US Mail fees vary depending on the venue and the event, but are usually under $3.50, and for some events are free. More info here: Standard Mail

UPS 2nd Day Air shipping costs $16.95. More info here: UPS 2nd Day Air

Can I avoid fees by buying tickets at the box office?

For some events, reduced fees may be available by purchasing tickets directly at the box office. Ticketfly is not involved in box office sales. Contact the venue or promoter for the event directly for detailed information.
