At the end of May, Ticketfly was the target of a malicious cyber attack. In consultation with third-party forensic cybersecurity experts we can now confirm that credit and debit card information was not accessed. However, information including names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers connected to approximately 27 million Ticketfly accounts was accessed. Upon first learning about this incident we took swift action to secure the data of our clients and fans. We take privacy and security very seriously and regret any disruption this has caused. How to Transfer Tickets

*Ticket transfer is only available for selected events that have approved the use of this feature. If you are unable to access ticket transfers, please contact Ticketfly customer support to see what other options you have.

  1. There are three ways to get to Ticket Transfers:

After you buy your tickets, on the order confirmation page you can click on the ‘Transfer Tickets’ link.

  • When you receive the order confirmation email, you can click on the ‘Transfer Tickets’ link.  

  • By logging into your account on, going to ‘My Orders’, clicking on the order you want to transfer, and then clicking ‘Transfer Tickets.’


  1. The Transfer Tickets window will appear. You will now:

  • Check the box next to ticket(s) you want to transfer from the order.
  • Enter the email of the person you want to transfer the ticket to.
  • Add a personal message if needed.  
  • Click ‘Review & Transfer.’
  1. A pop up will appear that says ‘Are you sure you want to send this transfer request?’ and lists the tickets that were selected and the email entered in the previous step. You can click ‘Submit’ to complete the transfer, or click ‘Cancel’ to return to the previous screen to make edits.

  2. Once you click ‘Submit’, you will see a pop-up that says “Transfer request sent!” and it will list the email you entered. Once you click ‘Done’  you will return to the order detail page. Click here for instructions on how to accept ticket transfers.   

  3. The person you transferred the ticket(s) to will now receive an email instructing them to accept the tickets.  Once they accept the tickets, those tickets will be added to their account and are no longer valid in your order.

  4. Once the recipient accept the tickets, you will receive two emails:  one notifying you the transfer has been completed and one with your updated order information.
